After a week delay because of a slight medical set back  ( almost lost a leg ) I finally went to pick up my wood from WESTWIND HARDWOODS.

My young apprentice "Chloe" tracing out the pattern from frame 1 to the plywood
Cutting out the frames with brand new bosh jigsaw.
Here was my dilemma . Two days before I wet to get my wood  some one stole a transport container of pre-paid marine ply headed to Mexico in the U.S. . The shipper used up pretty much all of western Canada's plywood supply re-establishing the order. I went to my wood supplier and found out that they were sold out until beginning of June ..... I was able to get 3mm and 6mm so now I have to laminate to get to 9mm or wait till June. .I am sure this will cost me a lot of extra time ,glue and money. Jan at West wind was kind enough to give 3mm and 6mm for the price of 9mm sheet.

As I clean up the edges to the pencil line with my block plane I realize I want a stationary belt sander with a spindle sander gizmo ..I think I saw one at the tool store.
as I am gluing components for the stem and frame 1 I also realize I need more clamps...
The end of my first week building the pathfinder. My shop is a little messy which means I was busy. hopefully by next Friday I will have all the frames cut and glued.
