I am finally back to work on my boat.... Alot has happened since I last did anything back in sept/09. I moved and also I was away most of the winter, diving. My new house has a car port that I am using as a work area. I had to do a bunch of work around the house till I could get back to the boat.... My space is not ideal but it will do!
My first project is to finish my combing at the stern. I made all kinds of attempts to bend plywood into shape but could not do it. I decided on cold molding some vg yellow cedar I have.  This is a jig I set up for glueing
I used 1/8th slices or less by 5 inches wide and forced them into shape with lots of thickened epoxy... I heard that maybe yellow cedar dosnt epoxy well but I believe every thing turned out
I removed the piece from the jig after it dried and sanded it and started fitting.
mostly done.............
I also started finishing my version of the seat sides
I have installed a upper ply combing that will be painted and a yellow cedar panels underneath

I v grooved everything ..... I like the look
